PINK IT 8.0

Pink IT 7.0: Pink Tech Evolution was an inspiring continuation of the annual Pink IT initiative, organized in collaboration with the WIE ENSI Affinity Group, the IAS ENSI SB Chapter, and the IEEE Young Professionals Affinity Group. This edition aimed to further strengthen the connection between technology and healthcare, while raising awareness and support for breast cancer patients. The event sought to educate and empower the community, shedding light on the physical, emotional, and psychological effects of breast cancer, and highlighting the role of innovation in saving lives. By fostering empathy and solidarity, Pink IT 7.0 created a bridge between medical expertise and technological advancement. The central theme of this edition focused on AI-powered healthcare innovation, exploring how artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and medical imaging technologies can enhance early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. Experts from both the medical field and technology sectors shared their insights through a series of talks, workshops, and interactive sessions, offering participants a holistic understanding of the disease from both technical and human perspectives.
