IEEEXtreme 20.0

A global challenge where teams of IEEE Student members compete in a 24-hour programming marathon.

About this event

IEEEXtreme is one of IEEE's flagship global initiatives, a 24-hour programming competition held annually that brings together thousands of IEEE Student members from university branches around the world. Teams of up to three students, guided by a proctor who oversees fair play and rule compliance, race against the clock to solve a mix of algorithmic, logic, and problem-solving challenges spanning multiple difficulty levels and programming languages. What makes the event especially compelling is its truly global and synchronous nature: every team, regardless of time zone, competes during the same 24-hour window, creating a shared sense of urgency and camaraderie even though participants are scattered across continents.
